I am trying to fundraise money to get to Chile to teach English to children. The organization I am going through is United Planet (www.unitedplanet.org). However, the program is costly due to field expenses (food, water, lodging, etc.), program development and management, and volunteer outreach and communications. I am currently a graduate student studying mental health counseling. I have a strong passion for helping others, and have made the commitment to assist those in need no matter what personal sacrifices I have to make.
