-- TIPS --

Valentine's Day Fundraiser Bouquet
  1. Set a daily goal of lollipops to be sold. (Remember there will be at least 6 cases of lollipops to be sold for the special rebate) For a school with 1000 students, a weekly goal of 1 case of lollipops per week translates into about 116 lollipops per day.
  2. Set up a goal with the students and with the staff to create an action plan for your successful winter fundraiser. For example, each student is responsible of selling 25 lollipops in one week. With a group of 30 students that translates into 750 lollipops sold in a week.
  3. Set deadlines for your students and get them excited by adding a incentive program or a awards program where the best seller is acknowledge in front of all his peers or the school.

How to make Valentine's Day Lollipop Grams

Single Lollipop Candy Gram (sell for $1.00 per pop and double your profits)
CandyGram Fundraiser You'll Need:
  • Wrapped heart shaped lollipops
  • Green chenille stems
  • Scissors

Directions: Starting at the top of the top, tightly wrap the chenille stem in a coil around the lollipop stick. Cut off reaming pieces of chenille, about 3 inches. Twist the small piece of the chenille around the stem where you want the flower leaves to be. Then shape the leaves and twist to secure. If you want to add a name tap or note, cut a piece of paper and make a hole with a hole punch. Secure the note onto the smaller piece of chenille before twisting into the leaf shape.

Multiple Lollipop Candy Gram (price will depend on how many lollipops were used. To cover cost of all supplies we recommend selling for # of lollipops x $2.00)
You'll Need:
  • Fun container
  • Florist Foam (brick or round to fit container)
  • Florist tape
  • 4 inch florist picks
  • Wrapped Lollipops
  • Bamboo sticks
  • Pruning cutter or snips
  • Colored roll - cellophane
  • Curly ribbon

CandyGram Fundraising The items you need to make this lollipop bouquet gift basket can be purchased at stores such as Party City, JoAnne's Fabrics, Michaels', or Hobby Lobby. For this gift idea, 36 lollipops were used. You can use more or less as you wish!

Step 1: Choose a container. A fun idea is to buy a clay pot and paint it with a personalized message. Cut a Florist Foam brick or round to it into the container.

Step 2: Cut the roll of cellophane (usually the roll is 30 inches wide) into 4 squares of 15 inches square. Also cut 2 squares of 20 inches by 20 inches square. Cut 4 squares of 10 inches by 10 inches square. Fold each square diagonally twice and wrap around 4 inch florist pick to create fan like filler for bouquet.

Step 3: Cut 36 strips of florist tape about 8 inches long. For each lollipop, begin wrapping one piece of florist tape around the flat end of a bamboo stick. Quickly place the lollipop against the bamboo stick and continue to wrap using the florist tape to hold the lollipop to the bamboo stick. Continue until all 36 lollipops sticks are wrapped.

There will be 3 rows of 12 lollipop sticks. The bamboo sticks are typically 12 inches long. Leave the back row as 12 inches high. Trim the second row of sticks short by 2 inches so they will be 10 inches high by snipping the bamboo stick with pruning cutter or snips. Trim the third row of sticks short by 4 inches so they will be 8 inches high by snipping the bamboo stick with pruning cutter or snips.

To Pull together:
a) Begin back row with the two 20 inch square cellophane fans. Evenly space out the 12 lollipop sticks that are 12 inches high on the back.
b) Place two of the 15 inch square cellophane fans on each side of the container.
c) Place the second row with the one 15 inch square cellophane fan. Evenly space out the 12 lollipop sticks that are 10 inches high on the second row.
d) Place the front row with the one 15 inch square cellophane fan. Evenly space out the 12 lollipop sticks that are 8 inches high on the front row.
e) Finish of the front row with the four 10 inch square cellophane fans. Put the curly ribbon in the center of the front row for additional decoration.

I cannot say enough about FastTrack Fundraising! Our orders were always received quickly...which is great considering we always sold out as soon as we cracked open the packages! The suckers were of highest quality, and our students loved them...especially the Sour Apple and Watermelon Yummy Lix. Thanks for the excellent service and incredible suckers.

Lollipops from Fasttrack were a quick and easy way for us to raise money for our recent field trip. The kids were involved so they worked really hard to "sell" their product. Selling during lunch and passing periods we went through an entire case, 500+ pops in one week.

The Lollipop Fundraiser was quick to organize. The "pops" were easy to order, easy to pay for, and VERY easy to sell. Students were in charge of selling the pops during lunch and passing periods. We've gone through four cases in less than two months.
