InReach is a program that targets “At Risk” youth, eleven to sixteen years of age.
“At Risk” is defined as students at risk of educational failure because of limited English proficiency, poverty, race, geographic location, economic disadvantage, or family dysfunction.
The InReach Program consists of character education classes, life skills training, creative dance and drama classes, and sports activities.
The objectives of the InReach program are to:
• Develop positive character traits
• Develop proper social skills
• Develop team building skills
• Provide exposure to different cultures
• Provide academic support
• Increase parent support
• Empower youth to make a positive impact in the community
